As part of the continued commemoration of the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War, Spotsylvania County, Virginia is hosting the "Battle of Spotsylvania" Civil War Reenactment and Bluegrass Concert to benefit Battlefield Preservation. The reenactment site and historic location is within minutes of the Spotsylvania Courthouse (Bloody Angle), Chancellorsville and the Wilderness Battlefields. Battles Saturday at 2 PM, Sunday at 1 PM. Concert Saturday at 6 PM. Living history scenarios, camp life, historic talks, sutlers, military drills, period music, medical display, children's drills, journalism during the Civil War and Civil War dancing demonstrations.
