6^th Annual Civil War Encampment/Reenactment at Rose Hill Manor Park, Frederick, Maryland. In September 1862 and July 1863 Rose Hill Manor was host to encampments of both Confederate and Federal troops. Battle 2 PM Saturday and Sunday, living history demonstrations, period weddings, children's area, crafts, games, Saturday evening dance, and candlelight tours of the camps on Saturday evening. Civil War period church service 10:30 AM Sunday. All artillery, cavalry, infantry, medical, and civilians welcome. Firewood, water, straw and ice will be provided. No registration fee. Spectator admission $3.

Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 10-3.
